One of the most popular devices for cave descents worldwide. The Stop offers exceptional control and versatility; the self-braking function facilitates on-rope manouvres. The device can be rapidly installed or removed from the rope without disconnecting it from the harness. It may also be used to ascend short distances with the additionn of an ascender and foot loop.

Maximum descent distance 100m. Normal working load (EN341) between 30 & 150kg. Where loads are between 150 & 250kg, i.e. for assisted rescue only, no impact force is tolerated & an additional braking connector is obligatory. See manufacturers instructions for parameters of use.

For use with single ropes between 9 and 12mm in diameter
